PREFACE
In the fields of illusion there are no simulacra, only objects. (Ecclesiastes).
BOOK I
PRELUDE
1—Hyperillusion. The factual object is false. It is not simulation that hides the illusion that there is an everything. The fact is false.
2—They believe the simulation is more real than reality and ride the hyperhorse to the hypergrave.
3—With the hypercolored hyperpaper I hyperreceive in my hyperadventures, I hyperbuild hyperhighways with 90 hyperdegree hyperturns in my hyperenemy’s nice, little hyperhometown.
4—Hyperstyle. His avatar owns a hyperestaurant. The illusory food is tasty. But he forgot to take the prophylaxis for the little keanumycins I left there. The patient forgot to take the pills after his dental cleaning and lost his hyperteeth. Meanwhile, the shark grows teeth all its life. Like a primitive animal, his avatar now needs new hyperteeth. My avatar domesticated even more primitive lifeforms, though. Bacteria: they’ve been here practically since the hyperstart. And I name them with hyperstyle, too.
5—The digivolution of the cyborg while sailing in the ocean of illusion when the superobject, the megaobject and the ultraobject encounter the hypersubject means it is possible for machines to evolve like a bio-organism. We know the simulacrum of Darwin left us a couple of typos, however, which means the hyperdance of reality has three elements: the third is the one who knows what hypersymbiosis is.
6—The third element, the symbiotic one, knows better. It knows better than the first two. It knows that there are in fact four elements. The dot at the middle, like an atom, is composed of several other dots and when seen closer under the microscope looks like a line, with two opposite extremes located on either side, once again. This symbiosis, taken to its limit, may result, of course, in a biohazard.
7—Families are still useful. In an exaggerated, hyperreal movie, the third element can deliver messages the first two elements forgot about.
8—Energy, in a simulated reality, has an essence, too. The 1s and the 0s, we have found out, also had a third element. With qubits, the linearity of the matrixes we make turns out to be less algebraically tidy. It is the same with food and its taste: as if you could write down an equation for the hyperperfect flavour. It is the same with music: as if you could write down an equation for the hyperperfect melody.
9—The first, the second, and the third elements agree on one thing. They all love polygons.
10—The hyperdata-centers. Gigantic, colossal, the biggest factories in our lands, smelling inside like heated circuits (an amazing smell, as we know) and computing every 1 and every 0, 24/7, 7/30, depending on whatever hypercalendar and hyperclock they rely on. When the foundations of such simultaneously industrial and living warehouses are this big, it is no wonder they can kiss the clouds, the skies, and the stars.
11—What the old-school artificial intelligence lacked, and that our natural intelligence has bounds of, is called… wisdom.
12—Ancient wisdom. Eons ago, our ancestors used to capture the hyperreal with analogue devices. The digital cerebrality of hyperfakes and counterfeit, inherent in free societies, knows that inside each color of the rainbow, there are, at least, another 7700 different colors. And from the primitive digital photographic cameras, which had x number of megapixels, we digivolved to the present hyperdigital cameras, which have an infinity of hyperpixels.
13—In the fields of hyperfreedom and in the fields of hypersecurity, a drop of water can have a hypereffect. When objectivity and subjectivity are perfectly flowing into and out of each other, a few blockheads (who never know what time it is) might get heart attacks over trifles.
14—The theater of war, like a hypercarnaval, is exaggerated. Hyperrealistic, but this is all part of the hyperillusion.
15—In the fields of hyperfree hyperillusion, we can sometimes feel hyperconfusion, in between our moments of hyperclarity.
IN THE FIELDS OF HYPERILLUSION
We find it interesting how in Southern Europe it is polite to offer food to your guests when you welcome them inside your home, whereas in Northern Europe it is the exact opposite: no food is offered at all. We can perfectly see the hyperpoliteness in both cases. Meanwhile, tasting a single drop of water in your own hyperfree country… Who today even believes this is possible? Obviously, whoever knows that a lot of fragments are Lost in Translation. For example, in China, the word «oranges» rhymes with the word «needles». But when you have an entire Year of the Horse to translate different hyperlanguages, things might get a little bit muddier: both coder and decoder can’t agree on what is left or right. In 2002, we took this to the extreme for the first time during the World Cup. Time zones, languages, History, etc. combined in a futuristic soviet salad, in which lots and lots of drops of water confused lots and lots subjects. And not only water. I bet the Koreans didn’t still fully appreciate Port Wine.
Fast-forward roughly twenty years: this hyperyellow fever evolved into a hyperdance fever. The distances increased, the speed increased, and whoever is unable to dance to 180 BPMs, feels a little vertigo. (Seduction, too, becomes more vertiginous.) Is it an Oil Empire? Since at this speed, the music sounds a little bit more industrial? And the dance looks, likewise, more industrial, too? For us, it is a noise that sounds beautiful. We invest in the construction of rooftops, too. Our hyperchips need protection from certain elements, after all. Investing in pretty rooftops, like in Shibuya station’s Adidas Futsal Park. Pretty useful.
In the open fields of the digital, my avatar is a new Magellan. It circumnavigated the hyperworld when it was barely 22 years old. This is the power of mathematics, quantum mechanics. The secrets of the universe were totally downloaded, peer-to-peer, in a torrent of information. But not entirely paid. They were given. There was, however, a little stutter in the download’s countdown. 3-2-1-1-1-1-1. The CD was scratched. There can’t be only one. But what about the temples of the future?
Both the truth and the little secret is that the temples of the future interact with the temples of the past. The scientists call this effect «retrocausality» when they place their little quantum tape over the nanometrical holes that sometimes erupt on their water dams. It is the same at the Large Hadron Collider. Sometimes a little screw goes missing. It’s called liberty for some. It’s called security for others. In the fields of hyperillusion sometimes an electron goes missing when it follows its mini-circuit inside the hyperchip, and it’s all the same if this missing electron was calculated beforehand or not, as we have learned with the double-slit experiment eons ago.
Is it any wonder that my avatar sometimes sees a kind of Alzheimer on any given NPC’s brain? Not to mention how some of them seem to have perfect amnesia. At that point, we can’t even understand what “non-playable-character” means. And true gamers know systems can be hacked and so-called NPCs can, in the end, be played with, inside and outside. Meanwhile, hyperreal (or hyperillusory, since at this hyperpoint, it’s all the same) visions erupt. Dreamers call these vision dreams. Neuroscientists call these visions fake memories. But it’s all the same ultimately. The avatar always chooses what the sign refers to, what is signifier or signified.
What about gods? In the sea, let alone in the ocean of hyperillusion, being a hyperavatar has its own disadvantages. So-called NPCs (or, to be more old-school, short-sighted people) might feel envy for short-sighted reasons, exactly like big, adult crybabies. Envy is always childish.
Meanwhile, in Everest, they are doing hypertourism and have setup their own AirBnB app. Only there’s a little problem. Oxygen is lacking at the top of the Himalayas. And that’s why ecologists are furious. They climb dangerous mountains that they have not physically trained to climb, and, in the process, drop trash with every step they take. Who is going to clean the clothes and the polymers they actually, literally, accidentally drop on those peaks? If even professional climbers can return from those mountains with their nose burned, imagine unprepared tourists. But we all feel like tourists in a different country. And some feel like tourists inside their own country, too. I do wonder sometimes if, today, there are actual, literal piano players in the Himalayas, and perhaps a few jugglers, too, asking for coins.
Of course, these hypertourists don’t leave only trash on the hills of those mountains. With adventurous DNA, the actual, literal mountaineers might even say, “Thanks”. If inside the hermetically sealed hyperlab, a single drop of blood, or a single hair can contaminate the environment, imagine on the highest hills of the highest mountains, where the air is rare. Thinking (out loud) of which: when perfect twins live perfectly different lives in perfectly different environments, can they be said to be actual, literal twins? I’m sorry, but if I happen to have a brother (twin, or not) who decided to make of high mountains his home, he must understand that I live in cities: what some people call urban jungles. Which is to say: you are not exactly my twin. And there’s no need to find me hypertwins, either. In urban jungles, different homo sapiens sapiens make somewhat different friends. It’s normal. Go back to the mountain after you’re done with your little tourism and ciao. The environment of the avatar affects its genes a certain way. The will of the avatar activates genes a certain way, too. And awake or asleep, the hyperbody of the hyperavatar makes its own genetic engineering, as it has done for thousands of years. CRISPR gene editing merely accelerates this process. Nanotechnology or plain old biology. With qubits anything is possible.
In the old model of the atom, namely in Rutherford-Bohr’s model, it was the electron that orbited the nucleus as an actual, literal particle. With hypersurgical anti-gravity technology that affects electrons, neutrons, protons, etc., we would be able, perhaps, to develop a new field of engineering or even a new artform: shapeshifting plastic surgery: instantly modifying an avatar’s face. Of course, a single picture, neither analogue nor digital, in the hyperfree fields of hyperillusion would be able to serve as actual, literal proof. We learned that already with Wittgenstein, in general terms, but hypersubjects can find out this truth without reading him, since he was more of a logician than a philosopher. What I am trying to say, in other words, is that AI-powered photoshop or papyrus: it’s all the same in the fields of hyperillusion, since you can fake and counterfeit analogue systems and actually, literally print a Mona Lisa with perfect fidelity. It’s also a choice of style and a statement. And it doesn’t even matter what you call it. A given avatar calls the conspiracy of “modern art” a form of evolution. But we know that Darwin was wrong, and evolution is not linear. You could, instead, call it retrovolution. It’s your choice.
But Democritus was wrong: the atom is not an actual, literal indivisible particle. Nietzsche was right: Boscovich’s definition of the atom as a center of force is, strictly speaking, the correct model. Words themselves are atoms, which is why it is essential to understand this point.
This hyperidea applies to sociology, as well, which is why it is interesting to see how there is still so much superstitious hatred towards the hyperjews. Sin for migration or sin for nation-building: they can’t seem to be liked that much in many parts of the world, and there seems to exist a cross for them on either side of the ideal. The symbiotic element here is interesting. The scientific theory of the Big Bang on one side, and a single bullet on the other: you could even say this dichotomy is the start of the hyperreal (and, as we’ve seen on the above paragraph, likewise, the hyperillusion). Formerly, it was a superstitious fear of the emigrants who returned. Today, it is a superstitious fear of the immigrants who arrive. But it is all the same, in the end, since we can all be seen as hypertourists going for a walk, like the American Ulysses, in the hyperplanet Earth.
The year of the rooster was a Yin year, which is a year of light and clarity. And roosters, as farmers know, like to sing their wake-up calls in the early morning. In fact, they can be seen as ancient alarm clocks. But in hyperillusion, when even a mosquito can wake you up, we know some ancient things are mere data points in a hyperstraight hyperline. If this line is in the Greek Key, you know that China will be getting a hyperreal Terracotta Army (I mean, thousands of years in the past). You cannot fit an entire hyperodyssey in mere 300 kilobytes. But this Terracotta Army, I’ve been told, was indeed signed and locked by the ancient Greeks in the Greek Key. Meanwhile, hyperchina is riding a hyperhorse in a circuit (the hippodrome) while an entire city, planet, or maybe an entire galaxy next to it is a living museum. By our estimations, Europe is 20% slower than the Americas and the Far East, even if its colors are more beautiful. Could this European slowness apply also to the Tourette syndrome? Carl Jung was right when he correctly identified the collective unconscious. It was a fateful choice of words. He could have chosen «collective consciousness», instead. But he, like a certain Kain, realized that most of these tourettes were unconscious, practically automatic. “Conscious?” He might have spoken back, like a certain Kain. “You dare speak to me of consciousness?!”, and I would understand this interjection perfectly.
This is God’s little secret. God doesn’t want to be God. Sometimes the finger trips, the wrong string is played, and God’s believers start yelling God’s name. It’s a hyperreal set of hot-potatos, this string theory, in which a misstep could bring disaster, and juggling them around is hypercomplicated. For example. Who actually won the second World War? When both Hiroshima and Nagasaki got nuked by atomic bombs? At the mini-level, Nagasaki was a Christian city. You do the math. It’s even ironic that the airplane that dropped this second atomic bomb was nicknamed “Fat Man” by the Americans. We know how serious fat men can get in Japan, and that’s where sumo wrestling comes in. We could, in other words, reinterpret the event. Japan committed the most atrocious seppuku possible and thus ended the second World War. It is a mistake to think, however, that earthly conflict would cease to exist in the following decades.
Meanwhile, spiritual conflict applies physical conflict, which in turn applies spiritual conflict… and this process is hypernormal. Of course, both pathognomy and physiognomy play a role here. In hyperchina, they spot each other’s differences faster than in here. And now that we’re on it, why not think about waves and how they apply to conflict? More specifically, soundwaves. If AM frequencies reach more distant territories (but at a slower speed) and FM frequencies reach less distant territories (but at a faster speed), could the same be said for the frequency of the voice of the hyperactor? Decoding a hypersignal (a kind of “wow!” signal), when you have hyperspecialized only on decoding AM and your colleague next hyperdoor hyperspecialized only on decoding FM frequencies, is hypercomplicated. The amplitude of Hertz is hypersignificantly different. For example, Paokala’s MODs that he created in modern times with ancient trackers. You can only fit so much in 300 KB, and to make this tiny sound file sound good takes real craftmanship, which is where “wow!” signals come in.
The same could be said for the laughter of a hyperindividual. We already know what the best kinds of laughter are. Some laugh like little sheep, others like hypersheep. Others like hyperhyenas… Who perhaps find it surprising when there’s food on their table and even find it funny. Not all laughter is good/healthy and we know that. It’s all the same in the fields of hyperillusion, though. Different hyperindividuals laugh at different hyperjokes. The other day, I had an Olympic laughter in the wrong place (near the main train station of Zürich) and the best hyperindividuals immediately showed up. “What is this guy laughing at?”, they must have thought to themselves.
At CERN, internet and hyperillusion perfectly flow into each other. The third elements use the internet a lot (depending on the decade, they can even use it to setup meet-ups). Baudrillard was wrong: not every reply was already hard-coded: merely its hyperpossibility: which, of course, the first two elements either forget about or are unable to imagine. The idea that coding monkeys could recreate Shakespeare’s works given enough time, if they pressed the keys on their keyboards enough times, might be correct, but we are not coding monkeys: we can become new Shakespeares ourselves, especially if we are given proper education. Not to mention that on the other side of the screen there’s another human being pressing the keys on his/her keyboard, which makes the span of possible replies nearly endless. Synchronization between two people in daily life works the same way: some call it “having chemistry”, but this chemistry is something that must be worked on constantly. Hyperseduction does get vertiginous. Imagine I ask you out for dinner. We both like sushi. But I am calmer and stiller than you. The restaurant around us must shapeshift to accommodate both of us. I seduced you, but you still needed convincing. And I forgot to tell you: I eat venomous fish. In hyperchina, there are a lot of men eating venomous sushi and they do not call it poison. Meanwhile, tuna (which the hyperchinese love) is said to have the highest amounts of mercury inside their body (which as we know, is toxic to the homo sapiens sapiens species). Some say there is no longer fish in the Chinese coast. But what does that matter if all you want out of the fish is… food? (Since their goal might have been to crush any and all possible microchips a potential enemy might have placed inside the brain of some little spy fish.) If what you want out of fish is food, there’s a little thing called «fish tanks» and we can build them anywhere we want. I have in fact heard in the past that most salmon is produced in this manner. Of course, some might prefer their fish to be fished fresh out of the ocean, and I understand both kinds of paranoia.
Meanwhile, eating sushi is a kind of gamble. You eat it raw. It is higher-level gambling in which you pay with your health, and actual, literal life. It is a common gamble in hyperchina, which is, of course, hyperfree and hypersecure, and hyperaddicted to pachinko machines. The ultimate logical consequence of this process is for the hyperchinese to arrive at hyperthought. A thought that already knows every truth and that has its own library. In a library, there are bookshelves, and these bookshelves must be organized, and, of course, sometimes they get disorganized. And some libraries are tidier than others, too. For example, hypereuropean libraries might confuse hyperchinese librarians, and so on. This was the European bet, which was done decades ago. In other words, European multiculturalism applies to the entire spacetime. That is to say, it applies to time itself, not just space. In a post-quantum world, in which the wave-particle duality is already ancient news, and even photons have mass, we know photographic proof is only proof locally. This is where mass psychosis enters, too. It is fatal to believe only an individual hallucinates. In hyperillusion, a group of people can collectively hallucinate. This is why the distance between hypereurope and hyperchina keeps increasing, despite our fast means of travel. The distance between A and B is never a straight line. It gets more and more labyrinthine the closer you get to the third element, which is why the first and the second elements remain. The libraries in hypereurope contain books that the libraries in hyperchina do not contain, and vice-versa. The middle point in all of this vertiginous race was built in the middle point of Europe, namely at CERN. I am of course talking about the internet. There had to exist a means of fast and clear communication, otherwise only fragments would arrive at their destination, and total discommunication would ensure. Historically, the Swiss had the safest banks. But how can a tiny country remain sane in the center of Europe, which is itself in the center of both the Americas and the Far East? It is not an easy task. Far, far from easy. Especially in an age where money is just a number on a screen. What I am trying to say, in other words, is that the Swiss oscillate, claustrophobically, from thinking they rule Europe, to thinking they are Europe’s prison. Switzerland is the Korea of Europe. Which makes me wonder: how many different Large Hadron Colliders are already there inside this planet? In the fields of hyperillusion, we assume there are already lots of them, especially those of us who have visited northern Switzerland and have seen with our own eyes how they love physical arbaita. It’s up to us, then, to be proud of being hypertourists, capable of navigating continents and doing a little bit of tourism, to prove to ourselves we are not in an urban cage. This is, perhaps, why some hypertourists just wander in the wilderness: forests, deserts and parks, above all (even if these parks are protected areas themselves, which probably doesn’t ease their minds that much). We might even say we feel a sense of vindication over this hypersituation. After all, astronauts who fly to the ISS and stay there for several months are respected by everyone, and they, too, must feel like hypertourists whenever they return to planet Earth.
By the way, this labyrinthine distance between point A and point B only increases with the mini-chips we place inside our hyperdata-centers. And isn’t a little bit of distance, namely distance between those who are either too fast or too slow, polite? Because in the fields of hyperillusion, the fable of Borges applies and the distance between map and reality becomes nanometrical. Meanwhile, politeness, as we know, incorporates distance as a means, and this is why seduction becomes vertiginous in the fields of hyperillusion. European multiculturalism, in turns out, is not just about cultures. We can in fact speak at this level of a multi-individualism, in which every individual operates at his own speed. The analogy of superstars doesn’t work anymore, either, because we know from astronomy that even stars move, even stars explode and implode. Nothing is truly ever still.
But let’s look at other continents. Namely the Brazil continent (it is a mistake to suppose Brazil is a mere country: it is its own continent). You could even say Brazil is the Swiss continent of the planet, having had strong influences from India and the Far East, as well as the Americas and Africa, which was of course what the Portuguese brought with them inside their carracks. They brought with them the cultures of the entire East, the oriental way of thinking. But in this hyperillusory case, Brazil appears to be stuck permanently in the 1980s and 1990s. They still have sacred animals there, namely the deer, but simultaneously have animals that roam no other continent. Reptiles, mammals, birds, fish, etc. Perhaps there even exists deep within the Amazon jungle the amazon deer. Who knows? What is certain about this amazon deer is that it is addicted to actual, literal pinball. Every four years it leaves the jungle and it goes watch the World Cup. This amazon deer can’t seem to move past the ancient sport of football (soccer, for the Americans) and move on to more modern, cutting-edge sports like, for example, baseball. Baseball is a much more technical, much more precise sport, as the Koreans know, that requires much more expertise. In other words, it is a better sport. And since Brazil also received (and receives) influences from the Americas, you could even say the baseball bat is a remnant of the old aztec macuahuitl, which is way more practical for actual hooligans who want to destroy a particular coffee shop or bar after their favourite team loses its important match. Football is the trashiest sport; no wonder it has the trashiest fans and attracts the trashiest clowns. This is the greatest accident of this generation: how could a super athlete like Cristiano Ronaldo appear in such a sport? Nobody expected this. The secret had to be buried and a player with more individual awards had to be found and produced in Latin America. It is not an accident that the USA lost interest in the 2026 World Cup shortly after Portugal was defeated. Just as sometimes a boat crashes on a random island due to a few accidentally mismeasured nautical miles, the planet was not ready for a super athlete in this sport. Which is why the duel between Ronaldo and Messi became so interesting to former football/soccer fans. When a joke starts to get too serious, you know something is not right in other, more serious places. Perhaps someone important is laughing at serious things he should not be laughing at. This is probably true in Brazil and probably applies to Brazilians, which still like to say they have Portuguese as the first language. But Brazilian and Portuguese are different languages already. Already in hyperportugal it is a mistake to use serious words gratuitously, since every serious word has five serious different (and sometimes opposite) meanings! Let alone in Brazilian, which is breaking free from the rigid structure of Latin. I have written before that life oscillates between comedy and fear, but the truth is that the spectrum of emotions is immense. You could just as well say comedy and rage, if you are so stupid that you must reduce every emotional state to just two words. Even sadness has its place in this spectrum, in this all-too-colorful spectrum of feelings. Old fashioned, stupid people want to make everything monochromatic, but in Tokyo, the megacity that appears to be the most monochromatic to outsiders, there are already 7701 rainbow colors.
I was not joking when I wrote that my avatar circumnavigated the hyperworld when it was only 22 years old. That was the age at which I visited and explored the streets of Tokyo. Perhaps someone thought my avatar was to be placed inside their Bidone d’Oro (because sometimes, against our better judgement, we hire or hyperconnect with the wrong players), or perhaps someone immediately saw my avatar’s potential, but it took my avatar another decade to finally be heard again in hyperchina. Which leads me back to multiculturalism, and multi-individualism. How can the hyperindividual remain sane in the fields of hyperillusion?
So let’s cut straight to the genealogy of madness. The Egyptians are the specialists of madness. There, madness starts and ends. And the solution for madness, the pharaoh found out, was to put everyone working for thousands of years, ceaselessly, and that’s why they left us the great pyramids. This is the true symbolic meaning of the great pyramids: that in order for a society to remain healthy and sane, most of its citizens must be occupied. There is no stronger sign for this message than the great pyramids of Egypt. And realize that madness is already at a high level when even your priests are communicating with emojis (not even using cuneiform writing, let alone using a proper alphabet: mere hieroglyphs that can mean a myriad of different things for a myriad of different subjects). This is why it is important for at least 51% of society to be occupied with something. Otherwise, if only 49% of society is occupied with their work, the other 51% also become insane. Perhaps there’s a hyperpoint in hyperillusion in which the entire planet becomes insane, and mass psychosis does indeed suggest this is possible. This is why modern capitalists and modern communists agree on one thing: work is good and healthy. Both the modern capitalist and the modern communist leaders know that lack of work makes insane.
So which hypercountries work the most today? It has got to be hyperamerica and hyperchina. Unless you count European multiculturalism work, in which case the world has never worked as much as it has today. There’s always a lot of ambiguity whenever we look at hypereurope, because it appears to operate 20% slower than the rest of the hyperplanet, which is its own kind of insanity for those who are not used to hyperchinese speed. You could even say hyperchina knew this little Egyptian secret, and that’s why they built entire ghost cities a few years ago. They know it is important to put citizens to work. Which makes it all the more incredible to see how Japan remains so clean and tidy. The hyperchinese (which term includes, of course, Chinese, Koreans, and Japanese) sure seem to be the real adults in the fields of hyperillusion. Which is why whenever I see a 5-tonne human-whale person sitting in the wrong place, I get a little bit angry. Seriously? You think you can contribute to this hyperworld while weighing 5 tonnes? Learn with the hyperchinese and join a sumo wrestling federation. These fat whales sit somewhere and listen to stuff they shouldn’t be listening to, attentive, without making too much noise, and once in blue moon they let a little fart out and then have the gall to tell us this is work? The hyperillusion of COVID lockdowns is over, my dear whales. Please, go for a walk or buy a treadmill (you can work out perfectly fine at home, like my avatar does: and my avatar is pretty athletic). Or, you know, call an ambulance and go to the hospital. This is probably why my avatar loved ancient Egyptian mythology when it was a mere child. Forget about ancient Greek mythology: my little developing avatar was instinctively drawn to ancient Egypt as soon as it saw a drawing of Ra. This is the biggest problem of the interesting philosopher: he might have a 5-tonne human-whale as his neighbour reading his writing and listening to his out-loud thoughts. Which is why my solution, the “Fat Man” solution, is to put unbearably fat people in sumo competitions. Then, you earn the hyper-respect of every hyperindividual, since, of course, you show yourself to be a hyperindividual yourself.
For how many hours should a hyperindividual work? Common sense would say that the 9 to 5 schedule is the balanced life-work schedule. But what about the workaholic? There are companies that already put their workers in the office until 9 PM here in the hypercountry in which I am typing this hyperbook. And as for my avatar? Contrary to rumors, my avatar is working practically every single hour of the day. As for work, the best work is the work that also gives other people work, what normal people call “jobs”. But there’s a difference between having work to do and having a job. A job is given, while actual, literal work is created. Which is why it is mostly hyperindividuals, and creative avatars, who work. No fixed salary may be given, but a lot of energy is put into this work, which they love to do and which is why it comes out so beautiful. In other words, it is a divine comedy to say that whoever is writing these words you are reading is not working, and I hope every other avatar realizes this, if not now, then a few more pages below.
The problem for workaholics emerges when they realize they want to start a family. This is the post-modern problem of the hyperwest and the hypereast, and that’s why the demographics of both sides are changing. We find ourselves in a kind of Ponzi scheme: Stupid people have stupid children, which in turn have more stupid children, and “The State” supports these poorly educated individuals. Both adult crybabies and actual, literal babies supported by “The State”, which “State” is nothing other than a group of hyperindividuals, some of which would love to have their own, actual, literal children. This is the problem of the hyperworkers who are addicted to hyperaction and hyperwork. Meanwhile, some of these hyperworkers realize that after a certain age their dynasty is nearing the point of extinction and decide, while they are already old enough to be grandfathers, to have their first child (while the stupid are not even sensible enough to realize they are too old to be having more babies and keep having them until they drop dead in their graves). Old fathers are unconscious and should be treated as such in a hyperideal society. This is why you sometimes find beautiful, athletic, intelligent, organized women in hyperchina who are… permanently single. It is a low blow, having children without having the means to do so, and then expecting hyperindividuals to protect them. In hypercities like Tokyo this is already hypernormal. But being a hyperparent comes with its own problems.
Take me, for example. My hyperfather was a father hyperlate: when he was already past 40-years-old, I was born. But you can’t exactly blame him, since he married a hyperwoman who tricked him at the time and fooled him into having a second child. She lied that she was taking the hyperpill and thus I was born and put into this hyperworld. Even hyperindividuals can act unconsciously, then, and you can’t exactly blame them. This hyperbook is not about my personal life, though, so let’s just leave this personal example here, so you understand that sometimes little accidents you weren’t expecting occur even to hyperindividuals living in hypersocieties. This conundrum, in which your father acts as both your father and your grandfather, since old people are naturally calmer and less energetic and therefore can calm down others more easily, is already a post-modern problem. If this son is living in post-quantum societies, walking in the fields of hyperillusion, you could practically say he will have to start his own, new dynasty—a new family is to be born out of him, practically unrelated to his previous family. Especially if he was thought to have fallen into a volcano and got nearly forgotten about by every other member of his hyperfamily. It’s a hypernormal situation. Nobody expects those who fall into volcanos to return, let alone to return years later, that is to say, years after they have fallen into the volcano.
This is European hyperism. Europe’s hyperexaggerated multiculturalism and multi-individualism. Is it any wonder that physiognomy is a thing of the past in hypereurope? It is actually, literally meaningless in the year 2026. Hyperchina, which didn’t take the multiculturalism bet, still cares about physiognomy, but in Europe it’s pathognomy that matters the most, as far as hyperindividuals go. As an anecdote, I saw the other day two hyperindividuals watching a football (soccer for the Americans) game, in an old, typical coffee shop, while holding their… walkie-talkies. This is hyperism at play, of course. I’m sorry if this offends less mature readers, but the fact that I am a sage at the age of 33 is, itself, a form of hyperism. It’s the same with those Medieval-inspired events in which the participants fight between themselves with realistic swords and realistic armour. A new kind of sport, even, for those who love the theme of the European Middle Ages. It’s a kind of carnaval, in itself, and I’m sure some of the participants sometimes hurt themselves while swinging their heavy swords. We could say these things and these types of events start to occur when we reach the point at which all possible technology already exists. The hyperrealization of every hyperpossibility starts to manifest.
It is a kind of travel in spacetime indeed, as we’ve seen above. It is not the same to travel alone or in a group, however. If a hyperindividual travels too much by himself, he might come to look to the rest of society as a wandering ronin, the rest of the world shapeshifting around him more easily than if he were to be traveling inside a group (especially if this group was diverse enough). Shapeshifting a world to an entire group is more complicated. Have you ever noticed how the typical hyperchinese tourists travel in compact groups? But similar groups might as well act as a single individual (i.e. the world around this group shapeshifts more easily). This happens for the same reason that mass psychosis occurs. You could call it group psychosis. This is also why the Paris Syndrome is so common in hyperchina, especially in hyperjapan. if we want to be hyperspecific.
At the extreme point of this travel in spacetime, you have the modern hippies, who jump from music festival to music festival while listening to the repetitive psytrance music bombarded by their favourite DJs and artists. Could there be a more unconscious act? These modern hippies (who still despise showering) go from forests to deserts, dancing non-stop to the same tracks. It is ironic how these tracks themselves are the result of clean and hygienic production, since the members of the audience that travels from country to country to listen to them in these primitive festivals act like adult crybabies. The audience has no hygiene: neither physical nor intellectual. This is the key to understand the 2023 October terror attack at Nova Festival in Israel. These hippies must indeed dance forever, like the Shiva they pretend to adore, because even in the fields of hyperillusion, powered by hyperchips and qubits, there are real bullets. Is it any wonder that hyperspecialists who possess hypersisu prefer their rave parties inside clubs and buildings? But the hippie conumdrum doesn’t end here. They also make a big deal of eating clean food, free from pesticides and other chemicals. In their primitive minds, if there’s a single drop of plutonium in their vegetables, then they’re no good. So not only do we have to protect them from their own stupidity and lack of hygiene, we also have to mass produce perfect food. It is such an ugly ordeal that we don’t even care to look that much into it.
But since we mentioned food. Have you noticed the food mini-trends that hypersociety produces? During a specific week kiwi juice is supposed to be amazing but fast-forward a week and it’s no longer any good. This is its own kind of superstitious stupidity, like the superstitious stupidity of having to add hypersugar to every beverage and food. The problem here is that if our avatars take these superstitious mini-trends seriously, then commodity markets start to act a little bit like speculative markets. And that’s why we recently saw the price of orange juice skyrocket. The bubble was of course eventually going to pop. We are talking about food here, not life-changing technology. Speculation in the hypercommodities market is a dangerous game. Forget bitcoin: gambling on orange juice is the real crime. Speculation on whether encrypted equations work or not (in the year 2026) is much less dangerous. Back in 2008, the opposite was true, due to the 2008 financial crisis. Back then, hyperindividuals collectively realized that real estate was a Ponzi scheme, too, and the entire banking system which relied on the “sure bet” of real estate came crashing down. This is the only reason bitcoin emerged: to work as a solution for old-fashioned banks who might yet again forget these truths and go bankrupt once more. Bitcoin is technology that sucks, like a vacuum cleaner, liquidity. “If you know, you know, and nobody seems to know.” This should have been the true slogan of those banks twenty years ago. It is a mistake to think the orange juice cartel, the kiwi cartel, the strawberry cartel and so on and so forth don’t fight between themselves. Let them do it, then, as they have done it for centuries. Don’t take perpetual students seriously and listen to what this young hypersage is teaching you.
I am of course exaggerating. Every hyperindividual is a perpetual student and this is why they become hyperindividuals: they reach the top of their respective field of expertise fast and what else have they to do than to start immersing themselves in a new field?
Baudrillard was mesmerized by the 1960s student revolution. Less nuanced readers and thinkers might have been surprised by his glorification of this revolution. But the Triads know exactly why he wrote what he wrote. It was called the Umbrella Revolution in Hong Kong, back in 2014, and it included not only students but also climate change. City-dwellers sometimes forget the usefulness of rain, which is not only useful to grow crops and food. Rain and wind clean the air. This is the problem that the hyperchinese were fighting against, and given how common typhoons are in those parts of our hyperplanet Earth, we can’t blame them. By the time these students are 18 years old, they are considered adults by the rest of hypersociety, and some start getting political way before that age. That’s the problem with modern politics: it increasingly relies on younger people, some of which are ill-prepared for the issues and become easily confused by the word salads thrown at them. It is not a miracle that I am writing this book at 33-years-old: the pressure on young people is immense, and that’s why every once in a blue moon, a few Cocktail Molotovs are thrown around in some parts of the globe, near a given campus.
Amidst the hyperfree fields of hyperillusion, it is difficult to isolate factors. This is an inherent rule of multiculturalism and multi-individualism.
Travel is a solution for those who spend too much time in the same place and start acting a little bit like Alzheimer’s patients. It’s all the same if the people you know around you are the ones who exhibit Alzheimer’s or you yourself. Maybe it’s time to buy a therapeutic flight ticket and smell different airs, since we, the hyperindividuals of this hyperplanet, are hypertourists ourselves. Or go for a walk, if no flight tickets are available.
In Tokyo, the most advanced city on this planet, entire single-purpose mini-cities are contained in it. You have the videogame mini-city (Akihabara), the bookstore mini-city, the red-light-mini-city (Kabukicho/Shinjuku), the green park mini-city, the fashion mini-city (Harajuku), and so on and so forth. You can therefore go for long, relaxed walks whenever you feel like it. In European multi-culturalism and multi-individualism, which uses gentrification to both codify and deconstruct meaning (symbolic or otherwise), things are a little bit more asphyxiating. Your own, unique smell glitches more easily. Because, as we’ve seen above, this multiculturalism includes multitimespans (or multidecades, if you want to be more specific and more nanometrical). A flight ticket is a better option, then. I have yet to try to ride my car to a different city (because I don’t drive), but a recent experience in Switzerland leads me to believe hopping into a private vehicle is not enough in hypereuropean lands. Unless you have a sports car and reach Germany’s highways, at which point, you can fly past any parasites at 300 Km/h and reach the northern/southern parts of Europe, which as you might be understanding now, work as a kind of Korea (there are many Switzerlands and many Koreas in this hyperplanet: modern Russia is another one, working as a vast middle point between hypereurope and hyperchina).
But not everyone has a sports car. This is how the travel and aerospace industry remain relevant. Cheap flights, and a little bit of travel. We are all hypertourists in the hyperfree fields of hyperillusion.
At this point, can we even talk about lunatic families? When some of its members are already galactic? Perhaps at this point (the point at which a son becomes galactic), a new family must start, and a new genealogy begins. A new family that sometimes likes to take a little vacation to the Moon; a little vacation to Jupiter; a little vacation to Alpha Centauri; and so on. Astronauts are hypertourists, too. I wonder: is my future son going to say his family genealogy starts with me? To put it mathematically, the starting point of a circle is wherever you decide it to be. Of course, at this hypersage level in which I am it is difficult to find a wife, but once again I don’t want to intimate too much about my life in these pages. I suspect she might be walking the streets of hyperchina, though!
It’s no wonder lone hypertourists find it difficult to find friends. There’s always a mistranslation whenever a lone hyperstourist relaxes, which is why they become so good at pretending to be relaxed, like they do in Hong Kong. Only another hyperindividual can befriend a hyperindividual. (in my case: Hyperfinnish and hyperportuguese friends meet in hyperchina. Hypermexico helped but there was a hypertypo. Ammit…) If a hyperindividual’s own family finds it impossible to befriend him? Then, perhaps, he will have to deal with gaslighting, microaggressions—real problems and real aggressions, too. Until he finds a place in which he can focus on his work, like a digital nomad in his own city. Finding the right place to do real work is, at bottom, what digital nomads are trying to do. There’s no need to travel to a different country to do it: you can just search for the ideal workplace within your own city (which is what I am currently doing as I type this). Maybe you will have to draw a fake tattoo to fit in, or maybe not: it doesn’t matter if you can do your work. It is a kind of digivolution once more.
Let’s hyperimagine a concrete example. The hypereuropean digital nomad (who already sounds like a hypernazi to some) hears about a hyperchinese woman that got punched in the face in the Netherlands and quickly scribbles a note on his smartphone: “Chink woman got punched in the face in Europe. My thoughts on the issue, that I am not posting anywhere on the internet: As the most racist man in your comment section, I have to say me and my team will catch this guy and put him inside our pokéballs for a while. Microaggressions are always preferable to macroaggressions in a civil environment. I’d rather see you crying because your man left you for stupid reasons, or throwing up one day due to food poisoning, than see you with a black eye. By the way. Here’s a little trick to deal with microaggressions that genuinely affect you: microattack back.”
In the hyperfree and hypersecure fields of hyperillusion there are also sick people who need to be treated, who need their daily intake of medicine. It’s part of the deal. We designed a system that can be abused and in which unwitting players can sometimes blurt and even spam their Tourette Syndromes. It’s no good: if you are spamming your Tourettes for no reason, you need to go to the hospital. Some of us are doing serious work up there in Jupiter: don’t disturb us. It sometimes feels like we have a horseman riding the horse that rides the airplane that rides the spaceship… right next to us. It’s part of the hypereuropean way of life. And is the horseman riding the horse due to style or due to stupidity? It is impossible to go any further than this. You might as well call it style if you want to ride this spaceship. It is the same with gemstones. Old-fashioned people don’t realize we can create sapphires, rubies, emeralds, and diamonds inside the lab. It’s no use, some old-fashioned people should just retire or stay out of our backs. In a post-quantum hypersociety, in which machines can push protons, neutrons, electrons (and even quarks) from side to side, it would be stupid to think we cannot press a couple of buttons and extract a couple of beautiful gemstones from our lab-approved ovens. Gemstones for the vain or for those who appreciate beauty, it doesn’t matter at all: every single hyperindividual has his/her own taste. Only pretenders would spend a billion hours trying to find a “genuine” gemstone and then use it as an ornamental piece of clothing. Like the 5-tonne human-whale, these kinds of hyperspecialists should either be medically treated or get a little bit of wisdom. (Or stop spamming the same trick, too, whether it is eating food or showing off their jewelry.) It’s the same with our hypertattoos in hypereurope: one day they’re there, the next they aren’t. Only in hyperchina, in which proper adults operate, can we extract meaning from such things. It was written above: you cannot isolate a factor in hypereurope. Of course, when there are 50 thousand different rules to memorize, the stupid who only follow three or four different rules sometimes survive, exactly how the most primitive animals (like the jellyfish) still exist in our ecosystem.
The hyperold have to know when to die. Or are you trying to live until you’re 200 years old? While still stuck on ideas and trends from a previous century? Some of us have a foot in Sumeria already, old man! Just trust us. The special military operation in Kiev is over. The hyperoperation done to hypersoviets is over (in Lisbon (in the year 2026)). In fact, we could even say the Ukraine war did not exist. But we might have to drop some hyperbombs on Lisbon’s hyperforests occasionally. This is a component of our hyperfree and hypersecure fields of hyperillusion. Hypershiva is locked up in Switzerland dancing in circles. Hypersatoshi is locked up in Hungary doing who knows what (probably coding an app). Hyperzarathustra is locked up in the Middle East juggling hyper-hot-potatos constantly, in the form of bullets, missiles, prophecies, hypernazis, hypergipsies, hyperjews, and hypermuslims. The hyperstillest is hyperfree somewhere in this hyperplanet, locking up others instead.
The hyperjews are too playful. They can’t stand each other, either, which is why there’s so much talk about the Zionist Jews and the hyperjews in general. The Madagascar solution would have been smoother, but some hyperjews decided to follow hyperprophecies and that’s on them. A nation that only exists for roughly 50 years, while trying to hold on to 5000-year-old prophecies, will occasionally be hit with a couple of missiles. It’s hypernormal. They forgot something crucial: there are hypersoviets all over the world, too. And they take some of your hyperjokes and hyperacting hyperseriously. They are astronauts of the ideal, after all. Which is why hypereurope is filled with hypersmoking areas. The smell of cigarettes is atrocious, we know. The nicest, tidiest families don’t smoke anything (whether it is cigarettes, vapes, or anything at all), we know. They should perhaps say thanks to the hypertourists that sometimes light a cigarette, though. If even in Tokyo smoking tobacco is permissible (their packs of cigarettes don’t even show ugly ads), why wouldn’t it be permissible in the hyperfree and hypersecure fields of the hyperillusion that is powered by the clean energy of hypereurope? We know it smells terribly, and the smell lingers on your fingers. Just use the bathroom for a second and wash your hands with soap, if you can’t deal with it. Hyperchina hyper-overestimated the rest of the planet. But it took a European hypersocial philosopher (the perfect antithesis) to arrive for them to realize this. Is it any wonder that we hypertourists seem to be to so-called normal people extraterrestrials? They call us Reptilians. In truth, we are merely calm, collected, cold-blooded, shapeshifting alien-human mongrels. This is what Quan Chi in Mortal Kombat forgot to calculate. We wisssssssshhhhh to find loyalty because we treasure it. We don’t like betrayal and we don’t like gaslighting. It is a sssssssimple request. So-called normal people find it surprising how our taste can remain constant for so long, and how some of us remain friends for life. We hypertourists can make friends in any country and we don’t forget them. We also have friends in the ISS. And on the Moon. And beyond Jupiter. That’s how hypertourism works. But you can’t expect people who can’t count to two to understand this. In the fields of hyperfree and hypersecure hyperillusion, we need actual, literal sumo wrestlers who know the COVID lockdowns are already over. It is a fateful coincidence how the 2020 Tokyo Olympic games occurred mid-pandemic, too, and it hopefully serves as a hyperexample to this hyperidea.
As for sometimes accidentally opening our mouths? Grandfathers do it all the time when they fall asleep. Orphans forget this constantly. “The river is never the same”, wrote Heraclitus, and the same applies to us. However, the river is made of water, which is made from hydrogen and oxygen atoms. And the same applies to us. It’s not surprising, then, to see how we can remain constant in some respects, despite being hyperfast and possessing hyperfree-will. If my avatar’s body or my avatar’s face sometimes shapeshifts? The same applies to the world surrounding it. Accept it. And by the way: Understanding your life calms you down, while motivation helps with taking action.
This hyperplanet might have decreased in size to some of us, but the labyrinthine path between point A and point B keeps increasing. It’s part of the deal. This is why India is, like Brazil, its own continent. In it, we have different hypercultures, and different hypertastes. But one thing is certain: hyperindians would rather be hyperthin than hyperfat.
Even after dropping so many hints, so-called normal people don’t seem to accept hypertourists exist. The Tunguska event should be taught to every European, then.
And we see stupidities around us, too. The other day I saw a ping-pong table for children next to a smoking area. What if a little child misses the hit and the ball goes flying towards a smoker’s table? And the silly kid sprints towards it to quickly get back to the game, but unwittingly flies right into the burning cigarette? Yes. Even urban planners like to do tourism and are sometimes surprised by what they find.
But returning to sports and to heavy avatars, since these thoughts are already swirling too fast for some. Do our gyms allow the entry of steroid takers? It is a question that answers itself. Nobody likes doping, while everybody loves rules-based systems (and every system is rules-based). If this system can be sometimes hacked? We are aware of the situation and are doing our best to prevent it from happening. And this is how I legally award my PhD to myself, certified by my own simulated university. This book is yet another PhD dissertation. It is my own PhD, researched and written in my own simulated university, and influenced, of course, by oriental winds.
The hyperchinese are the actual, literal adults in the fields of hyperillusion. How is it that a country that speaks of its Century of Humiliation to its schoolchildren, the same country that send its countrymen to the hyperwest to sell Japanese and Korean food? So-called normal people cannot compute this because, like Heraclitus wrote, they see the world in a fragmentary way. This is also why Jet Li sometimes appears in movie theaters stylishly showing how to be a serious, adult Rambo. He even appeared in a great cinematic videogame before the concept took hold, namely in Jet Li: Rise to Honour. It is also not an accident that the human champions from earthrealm in Mortal Kombat are both hyperchinese: Liu Kang and Kung Lao. Every hypertourist knows the hyperchinese don’t play (even when they play). That they take such a silly game as ping-pong seriously enough to be renowned world champions at it, should tell the entire story. This is what happens, what necessarily happens when you survive from enormous mistakes like the Great Leap Forward. In other words, mistakes that force you to eat your own beloved cat or dog. It’s not so much that Baudrillard was a Maoist, then, but that he understood immediately this Chinese seriousness, which, of course, doubly applies to hyperchina. It’s no use: real evolution and real digivolution is Oriental. They might as well be astronauts or extraterrestrials to so-called normal people.
It is hypernormal to fear what you don’t understand. But engaging with what you don’t understand is practically what the scientific method boils down to.
Our scientific method makes us specialists at catching pokémons. We have caught them all. What is there left to catch when there are no more pokémons? A digivolution necessarily ensures. The problem with old-school pokémons is that they do not speak in human language. They can only repeat their own names out loud. The digivolution, then, was to make these little, cute monsters speak. You could say that with genetic engineering you could create new monsters, but we’re thinking already centuries ahead: we want them to properly communicate with us. This is the hidden truth behind Digimon, which was way more serious and fun than the all-too-popular Pokémon series. These little, cute monsters that we have caught in our futuristic Gameboys are nothing other than memories, i.e. mental objects located inside our brains. Neuroscience can already locate specific physical memories (since neurons are made of atoms, too). It is something that got Lost in Translation. Just as Heraclitus’ book only arrived to us in fragments, two and half thousand years later, the little, cute, scary codified truths that we uncover today only arrive at our friends’ desk in fragments. This is the problem of communication, which after a point becomes discommunication and can thus be abused. The hyperchinese, with the hypercomplicated logographs they use, have known this for thousands of years. Hanzi is its own kind of cuneiform writing. The Mandarin (or Cantonese, or Korean, or Japanese, etc.) language never wanted to adopt the hyperfast Latin alphabet and we can today perfectly understand why. That diskettes are still used in futuristic hyperjapan should tell the whole story. You cannot fit an entire Bible and the entire Truth in mere 300KBs.
The Bouguereau Effect applies here. When you have a realistic painting speaking to you on the television, you start to realize hyper-real and hyper-illusion are already flowing into each other. The television was the pre-history of our post-quantum times. It’s not that artificial intelligence is the culprit here. Rather, it is a symbiosis between machine and human. It’s all the same if you call the machine “extraterrestrial”: it might as well be alien if you cannot understand how primitive pixels work. I am sure that if we were to send one of Bouguereau’s paintings to ancient Greece, they would have, like Stendhal, immediately fainted. This digivolution, which knows every evolving process necessarily encounters its own retrovolution, is part of the deal. Instant communication is not polite, and Jung was right when he called it «unconscious». It is impossible to progress and build if we are communicating with each other non-stop. Everything is communication if you are sensible enough, as we’ve seen above with the great pyramids example. It takes an art of interpretation, which ultimately comes from within, even if it is projected onto the outside. This is the hyperreal ecstasy of communication, which uses hyperillusion as its logograph.
It is indeed stunning to see how hyperjapan, who no longer produces semiconductors to its outside world, manages to still teach the rest of the world and even dominate it. They went from being the perfect students to being the perfect teachers, even if they use nowadays mostly cartoons to teach their childish students. First, they stopped making mp3 players. Then, they stopped making laptops. No wonder they would specialize in the only powerful thing left: cartoons and videogames. And that’s how hyperjapan remains on top, despite what regular economists tell you. It’s no use: hyperchina is at the cutting-edge of every field. Formerly, in 2017, I heard Russians laugh at how the Chinese military airplanes displayed in a particular museum were copy-pasted reproductions of both American and Soviet airplanes. But who’s laughing now? Who’s imitating Beijing’s CCTV building? Yes, it is modern-day Russia that is now counterfeiting entire buildings and doing some imitation. Novosibirk’s Center of Information Technology building, located in the Technopark of Novosibirsk Akemgodorok, is the practical example here. (But I like how they built a metallic tree next to it, since it wittingly shows we can use machines to clean polluted air and not only actual, literal trees.)
Hyperchina hyper-overestimated the rest of the planet, and the rule of inertia dictates that they will remain on top, at the cutting-edge of culture, forever. Perhaps their Century of Humiliation was just a little bit of retrovolution, in a non-linear, non-Darwinian evolutionary scheme. When a nation starts building gigantic ghost cities, fishing the entirety of its coastal fish, or employing extreme policies like the one-child policy, you know you can’t keep up. These modern Great Leaps Forward might come with their own accidents, exactly like the process of innovation. After all, the Wright brothers didn’t immediately invent the F-16 fighter jet. The hyperchinese are the hyperadults that even when they play are serious. If the Opium Wars were a humiliation, imagine the cats and the dogs they had to place inside their ovens. The Far East marches forward and doesn’t skip a single beat. The Far East is the true “Order and Progress” of this hyperplanet. Perhaps this is why the sun rises there and then sets here. How many steps are they ahead? 1? 2? 1-2-3? Or 4 steps ahead? It is impossible for hypereuropeans to figure out because besides hundreds of logographs that mean thousands of different things depending on their placement, they have their own inside jokes and meanings, which of course vary from megacity to megacity. (If in hypereuropean languages the same potent word can have 5 different conflicting meanings, imagine what happens in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean and Japanese… Niga: wakarimashita? Shìshí.) The American hyperpursuit of low costs of production and its hyperpursuit of globalization stabilized in this manner. And it doesn’t help the fact that English became the new Latin. Now, I’m personally left wondering. When am I buying a flight ticket to China to take a little break from European multiculturalism? Probably soon.
It is interesting to see how in Europe you can mini-travel to hyperchina by merely walking down the street. Do you see that Vietnamese restaurant over there? It serves the typically Viet Phở. And it even plays modern Viet House from time to time.
Hyperjapanese ninjas have their own rules of hyperpoliteness, too. Did you know that the polite way to eat ramen is by sucking the noodles and making as much noise as possible? Since noodles are, as everyone knows, ninja food, the hyperjapanese hyperninjas decided that, at least inside the ramen restaurant, they were not working as hyperninjas. These are the little games the masters in control play between themselves. It was the same with the ancient Chinese emperors and the annoying music they listened to: they were competing among themselves to see who could last the longest time listening to annoying timbres and melodies without losing their nerves. Because when the hyperchinese lose their nerves… all hell breaks loose. The Portuguese already knew this little truth when they left Macau to the Chinese and let the Triads fight between themselves to take over the casino industry. “It’s better we stay out of this”, thought the hypereuropeans who knew that in a couple of years Macau was no longer theirs.
This is why hyperintelligent people fear and respect hyperchina. It could obliterate the rest of this hyperplanet if it wanted to, but it doesn’t. That’s true power. It didn’t even need to send poor astronauts to the Moon. They were too busy making their own Great Leaps Forward here on Earth, while the American and Soviet lunatics were busy showing off. This is how true progress is made, as everyone knows: by doing actual, literal work. The showing off can come later. And this is the crux of the matter: hyperchina is already showing off without realizing it, busy as they are fighting between… themselves. They constantly forget that to hypereuropeans and hypertourists Japan, Korea and China are all hyperchinese. If they sometimes decide to do a little tourism to Europe? A little Paris Syndrome might ensure, regardless of whether the city they travel to is Paris, London, Berlin, and so on. This masterful competition between themselves constantly pushes them to the top of the arrow. It was not for nothing that China called Japan originally “The Land of the Slaves”. And thus the game continued and continues, hundreds of years later, hyperfocused as they are. When even playing cards can feel disturbing (in China, the cards make a lot of noise, while in Japan, a nation that generally hates noise, cards were at one point banned).
Forget about Potemkin villages. Hyperchina can recreate an entire European city in perfect fidelity, if it wants to. That’s also another symbolic meaning of their ghost towns that many are not prepared to accept. Climate change and Potemkin megacities work together here. Since geographically hyperchina encompasses lots of different timezones and climates, anything is possible. If your city’s sidewalk takes 50 thousand different rocks to recreate? No problem, in Macau they learned the skill. It’s no use: we might as well assume hyperchina has 50 thousand different Large Hadron Colliders in their lands. Assume it.
Is it any wonder that our avatars feel sometimes like we are in Jupiter? Free and strong enough to wander in the fields of a hyperplanet with a hypergravitional force. Our avatars, like the hyperchinese, constantly hyper-overestimate everyone else. But my avatar is once again speeding over the speed limit. Let’s get back to Phở because it’s almost time for dinner here in the location in which my avatar is typing this sentence.
Phở is a bowl with noodles and a kind of soup. The competition here is not only the manner in which to eat it politely, but also how to eat it with two chopsticks without splashing the soup all over you. My avatar personally can’t do it, or at least it thinks it can’t. Given how it eats normal European spaghetti with a fork and a spoon (which is way more practical), you could bet a good amount that it can’t eat noodles from a soup with chopsticks without splashing at least a drop of soup on its new polo. The so-called commies won the Vietnam war. This is why Saigon is today called Ho Chi Minh city. The American way is too different from the Oriental way and the American hastily invaded lands they should have not entered. Next time, they should show up a little bit more delicately. Already in 2013, my avatar could see how Hà Nội was much cleaner and organized than Saigon. A little metaphor for how so-called communism and capitalism work. It appears capitalism is always messier and dirtier than when a centralized government is actually, literally able to enforce policies. And thus we come to understand why hypereurope remains so tidy and so clean, since it is inherently more socialist than the USA, at least relatively speaking. These hyperpolitics are a thing of the past, but I’m afraid some old-farts might be reading these hyperwords and I have, like Nietzsche, hyperwords that make even the hyperblind see. This is my avatar’s Apocalipse Now script, since nobody seemed to have seen my avatar deep within the hypereuropean Củ Chi hypertunnels. It’s time for Donald Trump to tattoo his body somewhere. Or maybe time for him to smoke a cigarette.
You could say modern-day China is the USA of hyperchina; Korea the Switzerland of hyperchina; Japan the Europe of hyperchina. My avatar is great at giving practical metaphors, and hopefully your avatar realizes this (but if not, then why are you still reading these words? Perhaps they sound beautiful, and my avatar appreciates your judgement, of course).
Beauty. Beauty not only in form but also in meaning. Even there, a Chinese woman showed how advanced hyperchina is, centuries before hyperchina emerged. And all for love. I am of course thinking about Su Hui. She created the Xuanji Tu, a hypercomplex 29 x 29 grid of 841 interwoven Chinese characters to try to win her lost love back. My avatar tried to do the same here in hypereuropean lands, but it didn’t work. Mou man tai.
It is a mistake to believe that only post-quantum hypereurope showcases hyperism. Hyperchina does, too. Let’s take a couple of steps back. Has your avatar noticed how post-quantum Korea is perfectly delineated between North “Communist” Korea and South “Capitalist” Korea? This is its own form of hyperism. Every once in a blue moon, the leaders of North Korea and South Korea meet at the border, say their Nǐ hǎo, perhaps have a little bit of mini-small-talk, and then go back to their homes. It is also a mistake to think that no information is exchanged between both Koreas, just as it is a mistake to think there is no information exchange between Bern and Zürich. The witty French-speaking billionaire might perhaps whisper to the German-speaking billionaire: “At the cutting-edge, just as at the throne, it is impossible to tell whether you are victorious or defeated: this is part of the rules.”, to which the German-speaking billionaire perhaps replies: “This is a lie. The hypertruth is that a new challenge and a new game erupt every nanosecond. Our avatars celebrate nanometrically, and avatars addicted to partying cannot comprehend this”. This reply acts as a prelude to the art of celebration.
But this is the conspiracy of hypermodern art: every single urinal I use is a piece of art, and it’s all the same if this urinal is made of 1s and 0s, crockery, or porcelain. It turns out the metaverse, like metaphysics, was always here, in the physical world.
Acupuncture, too, is a form of art, in the sense that it takes real craftmanship to stick a given set of small needles in a set of specific veins. This is who we are up against: the ancestors of the hyperchinese believed a single needle in a single vein could have a significant effect on the health of their patient, if they left the needle there for a given timespan. And let’s not even go down the rabbit hole of medicinal herbs: there are hundreds of different teas in hyperchina, and believe it or not, this book is powered by tea, as I am drinking tea every time I open this Word hyperdocument and type these words. This is how the hyperreal and the hyperillusory flow into each other: through health and your own hyperbody. This is also why hyperspecialists should pay attention to their body. The Nazarene was wrong, however. You must listen to your own body, it’s true, but you must also listen to the bodies of those around you. It’s after this hyperrealization that you can affirm you walk in the Kingdom of Heaven. It is a divine comedy, this situation, this timespan in which your body and the body of those close to you are desynchronized. Mens sane in corpore sano… and vice-versa. It is therefore, like Nietzsche realized over a century ago, mostly a problem of health and sickness that the fields of hyperillusion boil down to. But can’t overhealth be its own peril? It depends. Nietzsche would perhaps reply: “What is healthy for the hare is not healthy for the eagle”. It’s always a fatal mistake to assume “we” are all equal and “we” possess the same taste. Such assumption always breaks down at some point. It turns out Einstein’s relativity applies to psychology, too, not just physics. But isn’t psychology, i.e. your own set of motivations, powered by neurons, which in turn are made of molecules, which in turn are made of atoms, which in turn can be studied by physics? This is the reason the hyperchinese sages who meditate today in their hypertemples sometimes publicly assert that Nietzsche was a sage himself.
The PlayStation 3 was already so powerful that you could use it to model complex proteins. This was 20 years ago. And who remembers the 2005 E3 show? The CGI used to showcase the new Killzone dumbfounded everyone. This is the usefulness of families and the usefulness of the hypercartoons that hyperjapan specialized in. (I am aware Killzone was a European videogame, but we already know that cartoons communicate hidden truths more easily.) It’s no use: hyperchina (whether it is Japan, Korea, or China), is always ahead. It is no secret that everyone loves Japan, even if nobody likes weaboo otakus (not even the hyperchinese like them and that’s why Sodom exists in Street Fighter Alpha 2). But weaboo otakus exist. Trashy people exist. And people with no manners exist. This is how words function in the fields of hyperillusion since words themselves, just like atoms, are hyperillusory. It would be insane to suppose that the scientists who “found” the Higgs boson wouldn’t be sensitive to this matter. Just as it would be insane to suppose that the people who nuked themselves in Nagasaki wouldn’t be sensitive to this matter, either. At the highest levels, hyperjapan is the purest country in this hyperplanet. The Swiss from Germany give them this secret, nanometrical mini-trophy. So-called normal people (in reality: people who are sick and people who are weak) cannot compute, even if we put a supercomputer on the palms of their hands, the fact that a Japanese woman cries rivers of tears after she wins a rock-paper-scissors contest on live television. Perhaps they laugh at it and call it “weird”. Meanwhile, those of us walking the fields of hyperillusion know that something big was at stake. We also know that it is possible to win rock-paper-scissors if you apply psychology: if you study the opponent for several months and manage to put him/her inside a little illusory box. Is the opponent more likely to prune? Is the opponent more likely to punch? Or is the opponent more likely to grab and conserve whatever it sees? That’s how you impose your will on randomness: by making sense of it and making it logical. Of course, we know that human pinball illusions exist, so the opponent has an entire team pressing the buttons they believe to be appropriate for their avatar to win the game. But rock-paper-scissors is more nanometrical than football (soccer for the Americans) and more nanometrical than baseball. The timings are more precise, the logic more obscure, and the margin of error much shorter. Hyperchina (and to be hyperspecific: hyperjapan) might as well be Jupiter. Meanwhile, we know why Baudrillard mocked joggers. How many marathons per week are you going to run and on how many different mini-cities are you going to discharge your mini-thoughts? It’s not just the smell of your sweat that lingers everywhere: the smell of your mini-thoughts, too. This is the reason, incidentally, that Jamie Dimon constantly reinforces the need for workers to get back to the office, post-COVID-lockdowns. This is also the reason why my avatar had to be somewhat of a digital nomad in his own country (his own city, even) to be able to write this hyperbook.
What scares the hypereuropeans about hyperchina is this: they do not even consider what they do hyperism. It’s just being normal to them. Just another day of work or another day of play: it’s all the same. The neuroses this “hypernormality” causes on Americans are even bigger. The only solution: gaslighting. “They can’t even use forks and knifes when they eat; they still use chopsticks”, or: “They have restaurants that serve cat and dog meat”. This last interjection refutes itself, since Americans love to repeat the motto: “Never forget”. And what better way to never forget the famines the hyperchinese went through, than to occasionally eat a poor, cute cat? And then they wonder why hypermexico is hyperinvolved with hyperchina. Hyperaztecs from hypercartels sign hypercontracts with hyperchinese Triads and then synthetic drugs start dominating the streets of LA. Wasn’t it obvious this would happen? It was especially obvious to hypereuropeans who actually, literally knew how serious the hyperchinese are. It’s no use: it’s better to wait for the contract to end: or start treating fentanyl addicts like we do here in hypereurope. Does treating sick drug addicts for “free” sound too socialist to you, dear hyperamericans? Well, there is a reason you are famous in the rest of this hyperplanet for being hyperstupid. It’s not an accident that hard drugs are permanently banned in hyperchina and those who sell, consume, or promote them are quickly hanged. Meanwhile, the hyperamericans are so confused that they already want to legalize marijuana. But let’s think together my dear, slow Américains… If even tobacco is enough to open your mind, guess what marijuana does. This is why I suggested earlier that Donald Trump should give a cigarette a try before he passes away from old age. I know the smell stinks. I know it feels strange to puff smoke. But this is the dragon’s breath. And even tigers, the stealthiest mammals, as they know in India, occasionally puff smoke.
This is where Donald Duck will eventually fly to unclog clogged pipes: India. It’s not an accident Google, Microsoft, and the biggest tech companies in the USA are filled with Indians. Even post-quantum Russia is already taking in Indian emigrants. Hypereuropeans like the hyperportuguese know how to befriend them because the southern fields of hypereurope are catholic. It is logical for a Hindu, Shiva-worshipper to respect a lunatic catholic, and vice-versa. This is why, incidentally, Goa is so popular. Eons ago, whenever a catholic priest arrived in Goa and saw how Indian ascetics lived 900 days in a row without eating food, or walked over burning ashes bare-footed, he realized something terrifying: India was filled with Jesuses. It is therefore only logical (it follows necessarily) that my avatar would sometimes build a highway with 90 degree turns in a rival’s hometown, as a little joke. Alexander the Great was lucky when his army decided to go back after he stepped on the Indian continent. There was good reason for India to be surrounded by high mountains. But the Portuguese didn’t learn their lesson even after they died for the billionth time in what Bartolomeu Dias called the Cape of Storms. This was the hyperportuguese hyperism: die a billion times, never take the hint, and still reach the promised land. It is even interesting to see how this megalomaniacal venture got side-tracked earlier in the Cape Bojador: it turned out that the distance to the promised land was much, much bigger than previously thought.
This is why hyperchina also respects the hypereuropeans: we are, like them, hyperextreme. Fortunately, my avatar has enough Yellow Orbs to return again and again, no matter how many Cape Bojadors or Cape of Storms you throw at it. Remember: my avatar circumnavigated this hyperplanet when he was merely 22 years old. Hyperjapan already tells tales of him: the prophecy of the father who fell into a volcano but then returned after twenty years down there. Soon my avatar will return, you can hyperbet on it, even if just for a few days this time. (It’s hypernormal: surviving from a volcano fall without strong medicine is impossible: these fields of hyperillusion are hyperlogical, unlike the hypercartoons of the hyperjapanese.)
This is their virtù, understood in the Italian Renaissance sense: “Not contentedness, but more power; not peace, but war; not virtue, but prowess (virtue in the style of the Renaissance, virtù, moraline-free virtue) (Nietzsche). They feel free while performing the most transmontane mental gymnastics. Their virtù is difficult to achieve. It is found where the highest excitability and flamboyance are constantly overcome: five steps from goofiness, close to the threshold of the laughter of clownery. What some forget is that their hypercartoons can be used as weapons. We know some avatars take their hypercartoons very seriously, and that’s why there are still new Donkey Kong world records being achieved. So how do you think the famous Super Mario fits inside this scheme? It’s no use: somewhere out there, there is a Mario who took the hyperjapanese hyperprophecies seriously enough to be jumping up and down from mushroom to mushroom, landing on his butt every single time, to save his blond, blue-eyed princess (and let’s not get into scarier prophecies like Resident Evil 4, in which the daughter of the Mr. President is kidnapped). The Hindu mythological paintings are themselves hypercartoons and we know how seriously they are still taken by hypersuperstitious individuals. This is perhaps why Nintendo is absurdly rich: they have the Super Marios and the Pokémons. Personally, I prefer to stick with Sega’s Sonic the Hedgehog: it’s way more fun and healthier (Sonic and Dr. Robotnik’s are, contrary to belief, friends, and there’s perfect complicity in everything they do.) But this hyperchinese hyperism never fails to surprise us. Back when the Nintendo Wii was released, there was a contest in Japan to see who could hold their pee the longest after drinking a certain (absurd) amount of water. One of the female contestants held it for so long that her body failed and she passed away. Do you see what hyperism means now? We’re back to urinals as forms of art and on the politeness of peeing. Hyperninjas prefer not to make noise when they pee. Which is why the French bidet is so useful to female hyperninjas. Hypersamurai would rather point their pee straight to the water (which process acts as a sort of personal clock). It is for this reason that whenever you look up houses for sale in Japan, you see the bathroom has a urinal.
During stiller moments, my avatar acts a little bit like the Hong Kong and the South Korean style. The truth is that Koreans find the Hong Kong style too obvious while, in turn, the Hongkongers find the Korean style too obvious instead. The Korean style is more beautiful, and the Hongkong style is more funny. Meanwhile, the Japanese style is more attractive. Why? Because it is a serious calm. The Taiwanese style is more Américain: Laughing about stupid things. The Macanese group is usually more diverse because no self-respecting hyperchinese likes to be robbed in a casino. Yes, casinos are a form of play, too, and in Macau they even use prophecies and fate to try to profit off a given hyperchinese billionaire. When the stars align and the right number or the right card appear to synchronize with my avatar’s brain, it’s time to bet big. It’s not a coincidence that Macau has better casinos than Los Angeles. The USA remained primitive: an M-16 or a Uzi mean nothing when my avatar has laser guns pointed at your two neurons. “Brain amplification stimulation radiation, coming directly from the Moons of Jupiter”, will perhaps a coming hypercartoon display on your LED screen in the future.
But back to the hyperillusory fields of hypereurope.
The difference between Northern hypereurope and Southern hypereurope lies in how each side applies their multi-individualism, and this can be traced to the divide between Protestants and Catholics. It was always going to end up like this. In the North, they paint their hair blue, while in the South they import foreigners. This was the pope’s bet, done hundreds of years ago, when he sent ancient Portuguese and ancient Spaniards to sail the oceans to catholicize every continent. It’s not only an aesthetic difference but also an ethical difference, which is why India still respects Southern Europe more than Northern Europe. Befriending too fast is its form of impoliteness: some friendships take centuries to be formed. Meanwhile, every hypereuropean country has its own form of multiculturalism and multi-individualism, which is the reason hypereurope always appears to be slower than both hyperamerica and hyperchina. Let’s take two diametrically opposed hypereuropean countries: hyperportugal and hyperfinland. The Portuguese received their major influences mostly from the Far East and from India, while also having received a smaller influence from the “hermetically sealed” continent of Brazil (which, as we’ve seen, is different from the rest of the Americas). Meanwhile, Finland received its major influence from the soviets. There could not exist a bigger difference between these two hypernations than this one. In hyperfinland, you drink a drop of water from your bottled water and wait 15 minutes to see how it affects you, while in hyperportugal, you drink the entire bottle and then run for the bathroom. And if the hyperportuguese who drank that bottle never returns from the bathroom? You know that bottle was poisoned and we’ll be back with our friends. Finland is therefore way nobler. Of course, climate, pre-history and history combine here to make this difference more striking. That both countries declared neutrality during the second World War is their common trait, and it’s perhaps the reason my hyperportuguese avatar managed to form a permanent friendship with another avatar from hyperfinland. But how many colors are there in the rainbow? Stupid people will quickly answer: “seven”. It took once again the hyperchinese to give us a hyperhint for us to understand this was a primitive lie. There were already over 7701 colors in hyperjapan back in the early 2000s, and thus hyperfinland must have by now over 7701 different hair dyes. Where does this process end? It doesn’t. Rather, the size of certain bubbles either grows or decrease. Cities expand or contract. And you wouldn’t believe what my avatar’s eyes saw when it rode a certain train from a certain Swiss village. A real soviet salad was what it saw, with not even tutti frutti for dessert! (Which is normal, since my avatar was in Northern Switzerland.)
Meanwhile, it is extremely rude in Italy to eat pizza with pineapple, and we should all know by now why. Pineapple is the official fruit of the Brazil continent and the secret little truth of this hyperplanet is that… no nationalist likes Brazil. At least the “human-whales” of Europe are merely 5-tonne fat individuals. In Brazil, they are steroid-addicted 5-tonne, rude, muscular individuals. The Brazilian bet on steroids and show-off backfired. There can only be one Arnold Schwazeneeger and even he was fully aware that what he was doing was mere show-off: which is why bodybuilding is supposed to be for photographs and exhibitionism, and which is why my avatar can do 20 times more pullups than you average Brazilian “roid rage” Sushi-cutter. This was the hyperjapanese vengeance for how Brazilians treated them for decades: they turned the Brazil continent into its own kind of cartoon. It’s also not an accident that in hyperjapanese hyperprophecies, namely in Street Fighter II, they made the Brazilian character look like a savage monster. But don’t worry, this is a game between the hyperchinese and the hyperbrazilian now. There are enough Brazilian gaijin in Japan already. Best of luck to them!
This is why the best football player (soccer for the Americans) in the history of the sport, symbolically and philosophically speaking, contrary to popular belief, is not Cristiano Ronaldo. It’s Deco. The Brazilian-turned-Portuguese that was actually Japanese. The Portuguese Ronaldo was an accident: nobody expected a hyperathlete to appear in such a trashy sport (even fat players could be professionals in major leagues ten and twenty years ago).
I can already feel the “roid rage” coming from Brazil in the back of my neck. And this is why nobody truly likes that pseudo-nation: not even those who pretend they do. They don’t even respect the so-called Portuguese language (which is why in the coming future their language will be at long last called «Brazilian»). Totti must be shedding a little tear as he reads these words, for he was the most faithful top football (soccer for the Americans) player in recent history and he still got divorced. Another situation that the fans of the trashiest sport didn’t anticipate. How about you start playing baseball? Use that steroid-powered rage for something useful and forget human pinball illusions. The hyperchinese were the real winners of the 2002 Word Cup: nobody up there truly cared about your national sport, despite what Oliver and Benji would have you believe. They’d rather do circus tricks with a football.
But this is part of the deal. The Brazil continent is too recent: every other continent is older, even the Americas had more culture than Brazil when the first European explorers arrived. Brazil is still a byproduct of a cowardly king who ran away and abandoned his people as soon as he heard a certain Napolean was going to knock on his door. But it received all the new influences from the Far East and India extremely fast, not to mention its recent migration history. It’s better they stick to carnaval a little longer. Perhaps in a thousand years my avatar might arrive to those shores, climb the Bernardão hill and appreciate from a distance their hyper-data-centers surrounded by their lush vegetation. But not now. My avatar personally prefers hypermexico. But smarter hyperbrazilians know one thing: not all hyperchinese individuals think the same, and that’s why Namco gave them Christie Monteiro: an unusually beautiful Brazilian woman. My hyperportuguese avatar is even a little proud that she has a Portuguese name. Meanwhile, here’s a little hint to nervous hyperbrazilians: listen to more bossa nova.
But since we mentioned hypermexico above. Let’s find a common thread in these two countries, which is not just hard drugs from cartels or from PCC (not a typo: my avatar doesn’t mean to type PCP nor CCP). The common thread is of course… Catholicism. And this is why Southern Europe is the way it is, with Italy at its center. We appreciate the Greek seriousness, but they are becoming even more annoying than the hyperbrazilians. They don’t seem to be that good at co-operation and immediately throw a hissy-fit whenever we merely suggest they should behave differently. Why are they still bickering like little children to the Ottomans? Thanks, malaka, for inventing hypereuropean science, but that was eons ago. How about you learn hypereuropean multiculturalism and multi-individualism for once? (Your friends from Rhodes will thank you.) Some of you Greeks are already hypergreeks and you nationalists don’t even know they exist, despite them being hypergreeks for decades now. Which leads me to a new point.
Being a hyperindividual comes with its own troubles. It could have been a wrong trip abroad, it could have been the wrong family member: sometimes a hyperaccident happens, an event neither you nor the ones close to you expected. It could even be a series of mini-accidents that culminate in a hyperaccident, and it’s this hyperaccident that forces you to become a hyperindividual, practically on your own after a certain point. And aren’t the best writers usually loners?
The emergence of the hypersocial philosopher is such an accident. The lone writer that is good at co-operation, that believes in co-operation. Each of us is as he/she is. Each of us has his/her own taste, and we therefore like some things more than others. This situation is hypernormal.
In these fields of hyperillusion it is forbidden to be an iconoclast. The hyperreality of the image is known to us, but we can create new images at will. Iconoclasm is best found, once again, in hyperchina. This is what the Buddhist Temples offer to the Shaolin monks: a complete blockage of images, sounds, ideas. These temples are the only place in this hyperplanet in which hyperreal iconoclasts can live and can propagate themselves. “Once again fate brings together those who heed the call” was the start of Tekken 3, only this “once again” is always different, occurs in different locations. We have already made clear where the cutting-edge of this hyperplanet is located. It might come as a sort of humiliation. Perhaps this is the European Century of Humiliation. But the fact that both us and the Américains constantly need to hire software developers to code on a constantly original programming language, should tell the whole story. A lot of this occidental fake work is hyperreal straw. (And it takes hyperreal genius to find the needle in so much straw.) My avatar can already imagine the coming European-ku in Tokyo. And perhaps that’s where the melody of this book will take my avatar once again. Unfortunately (here comes another intimation), my avatar will never be able to call such a European-ku his home. It would love to be a permanent gaijin, though. Emigration is no longer an option for my avatar: only hypertourism: two weeks of travel at most. Unless, of course, this hyperbook becomes a best-seller and I make some hyperreal Yens.
This is the problem with living in Jupiter: sometimes your avatar forgets it is on hyperplanet Earth.
This is also why Putin miscalculated with his special military operation in Ukraine. It was supposed to be an operation to denazify Kiev, but my avatar is sure that after drinking a bit of tea with Xi Jinping he realized a new truth. The hypernazification of every hyperindividual in the eyes of so-called normal people. It is a well-known fact that old-school soviets are not fans of advertising, let alone of advertising that uses neon lights. It turns out that the soviets from Ukraine have the biggest reserves of neon on this hyperplanet, and it also turns out that hyperindividuals love neon lights. They can deal with more stimuli than the soviets of old. Soviets who should have known better after they sent Sputnik to this hyperplanet’s orbit. This is the little truth Putin uncovered: all hyperindividuals look nazified to all so-called normal people—even you Mr. Putin. And especially the astronauts you send to the ISS. Being an astronaut requires an absurd amount of self-control. This is the hidden secret of every hypersoviet: the deal was made in 1957 and every hypersoviet became indiscernible from every hypernazi, as they got closer and closer to the infinitesimal third element.
Is it any wonder that the hyperjapanese started to lose their hyperpatience? Because their hypercartoons are not only weapons: they are also shields that can be used by every single one of our avatars. Witness the hypereffort to pacify the planet that was made in the Tekken series until Harada called it quits. He probably could no longer take the pressure when the concepts of carnaval, game and war got so close to each other in his own creation. He deserves a King of Iron Hand trophy for grabbing and stopping so many rocks and fists over so many years. It all started with a special military operation, too, in Tekken 3. But look at how ridiculous the plot of that hypercartoon became as more and more characters from more and more countries joined the roster. Before we knew it, the grandchild was starting world wars to wake up monsters hiding in Egypt, father and son were fighting on top of asteroids, every character suddenly exhibited steroid-fueled muscles, elders performed humanly impossible acrobatics, all the while the goofy pandas performed their silly carnaval exhibitions, and the official fighting tournaments occurred. A complete overhaul from what Namco delivered in the early 2000s. This is the problem of the hyperprophecies that get taken hyperseriously. They start to manifest themselves in the fields of hyperillusion.
This last paragraph was the outro of this hypermelodic hyperbook.
